Bone cancer is caused by a problem with bone cells. More than 2,000 people are diagnosed in the U.S. each year with a bone tumor. The bone tumors in children are common and most young people are less common in the elderly. Cancer that affects bones in the elderly is the result of metastasis from other tumors.
There are many different types of bone cancer. The most common are: bone cancer osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, chondrosarcoma, MFH, fibrosarcoma, chondrosarcoma.
